Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including evaluation of mobility, strength, and functional abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating exercises, stretching routines, hands-on techniques, and therapeutic equipment. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to better serve evolving needs. Educate patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes, self-care techniques, and proper use of assistive devices. Participate in team meetings to discuss case studies and contribute to improved therapeutic strategies. Engage in continuous professional development by attending educational workshops and maintaining current knowledge of physical therapy techniques. This full-time onsite role supports a diverse patient population including children, adults, and seniors dealing with post-operative recovery, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. The position offers a salary of $100,000 to $120,000 annually with flexible Monday-to-Friday hours.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Physical Therapy.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear interactions with patients and teamwork with other healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in the use of computer systems for documentation and scheduling.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare team.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
