Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate physical capabilities and limitations, then develop and implement personalized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals. Modify strategies based on evidence-based practices and patient feedback, while documenting all interactions, treatments, and progress for compliance and billing. Provide ongoing education and support to patients and families from diagnosis through home care, and collaborate with occupational therapists, physicians, and support staff. Engage in community outreach and wellness programs to promote health education. Work onsite 40 hours per week, potentially including variable weekend shifts, with a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and basic word processing tools
- 40 hours per week
