Job Summary
Design and implement physical therapy treatment plans focused on restoring movement and reducing discomfort for patients. Conduct comprehensive evaluations assessing functional capabilities through diagnostic tests related to muscles, joints, and nerves. Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants to ensure quality care alignment with established care plans. Administer manual techniques including therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage while educating clients on non-manual exercises. Collaboratively develop, review, and enhance individual care plans with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Maintain meticulous clinical documentation for regulatory compliance and quality assurance. Actively participate in case conferences and instruct family members in supporting the patient's therapy regimen and equipment usage. Provide in-home physical therapy services as ordered by referring physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of one year of experience in physical therapy
- Current, valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Illinois, in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license with proof of automobile insurance
