Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations upon intake, assessing mobility, pain management, and functional limitations. Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans incorporating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education. Utilize rehabilitation equipment to facilitate progress while documenting treatments and progress notes meticulously in electronic health records. Regularly reassess patient outcomes to update goals and strategies, providing training to patients and families on self-care techniques and assistive device use. Work onsite at our state-of-the-art facility in Leesburg, Virginia, serving a diverse population including children and adults recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with patients and their families
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer applications, including word processing
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
