Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive consultations to assess physical conditions and symptoms, then diagnose movement dysfunctions using evidence-based approaches. Develop personalized treatment plans and instruct patients in therapeutic exercise techniques while applying advanced methods like stimulation or massage to facilitate healing. Assist patients with mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers, maintaining detailed records to track progress and treatment goals. Provide educational resources about in-home treatment options to support rehabilitation journeys. This role serves a diverse population of children and adults with orthopedic and neurological conditions, offering a flexible Monday-to-Friday schedule with mentorship for new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient information
- A flexible and adaptive approach, able to thrive in a dynamic work environment
