Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical skills and limitations, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Monitor progress and adjust methods to enhance recovery outcomes while providing hands-on therapy techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and document services accurately. Work with diverse populations recovering from surgeries, trauma, neurological conditions, and chronic illnesses in a state-of-the-art Eugene facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Oregon
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare team members
- A commitment to professional growth and a strong understanding of evidence-based practices
- Previous experience in an outpatient rehab setting or similar environments
- Certification in specialized therapy approaches (e.g., manual therapy, aquatic therapy)
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Experience with patient education and support strategies
