Job Summary
Develop personalized physical therapy treatment plans based on patient evaluations and physician prescriptions, conducting thorough diagnostic assessments to guide care. Oversee physical therapy assistants to ensure quality and compliance, while administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like electrical stimulation and ultrasound. Prepare comprehensive clinical documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, and actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to modify care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment techniques and assistive device usage, while assessing home environments to enhance safety and independence. Maintain full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Work onsite at our Clearwater facility with a diverse patient population recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active physical therapy licensure in the state of Florida with a clean professional record
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in acute care or home care settings
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance, as travel may be required

- Familiarity with OASIS documentation and other regulatory compliance requirements
