Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and functional assessments for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. Educate patients and caregivers on self-management strategies and preventative care. Document treatment progress and outcomes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care. Meet minimum utilization and performance objectives to support clinic success.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
- At least two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer applications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a variety of specialties, including sports medicine, geriatrics, or pediatrics
- Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines
- A preference for ongoing professional development
