Job Summary
Conduct detailed consultations to assess patient conditions and diagnose movement dysfunctions, then craft personalized treatment plans. Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises for strength, flexibility, and balance while implementing manual therapy techniques like massage and stimulation. Guide individuals on using assistive devices such as wheelchairs and walkers, and maintain thorough records to document progress and adjust plans as needed. Educate patients and families on in-home treatment options and recovery strategies. This onsite role at our West Palm Beach facility serves diverse populations including athletes and elderly patients, offering flexible Monday-to-Friday hours.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to patients and families
- Proficient in using word processing software and electronic medical records systems
- A commitment to professional growth and a willingness to learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologies
- Highly flexible and agile, capable of adjusting treatment approaches based on patient progress and feedback
