Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to determine physical therapy needs for patients with functional limitations and disabilities. Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings and implement protocols adhering to regulations and professional standards. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to discuss treatment goals and adjust plans to optimize patient outcomes. Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, progress, and home care procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress toward goals. Participate in departmental meetings, community outreach programs, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia
- BLS certification
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in electronic health records and documentation processes
- minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy
