Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations for patients referred by physicians to determine individual functional and rehabilitation needs. Develop, document, and implement customized treatment plans based on unique goals and physician recommendations while managing a diverse caseload of orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports-related conditions. Deliver hands-on care utilizing evidence-based practices, consult patients and caregivers on protocols and home exercise programs, and maintain effective communication with peers to foster a multidisciplinary approach. Evaluate and report on patient progress regularly to adjust treatment plans and ensure compliance with utilization goals. This full-time role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art facility in Cape Coral, FL, offering a salary of $100,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, evidenced by passing the Physical Therapy Examining Committee's certification
- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, managing a variety of patient diagnoses
- Current CPR Certification to ensure emergency readiness
- Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, essential for patient interaction and documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance documentation and patient management
- Prior exposure to various therapeutic settings, including outpatient clinics and home health environments
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment protocols
