Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans and develop evidence-based therapeutic interventions for recovery. Maintain meticulous documentation of care, including treatment notes and progress reports, while overseeing and mentoring physical therapy assistants. Effectively communicate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate multidisciplinary care and utilize outcome measures to adjust treatment strategies. Work onsite with diverse patient populations ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in modern electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in a physical therapy setting
- Previous work in a rehabilitation facility or similar environment
- Experience conducting outpatient therapy
