Job Summary
Conduct thorough consultations to assess patient conditions, diagnose movement dysfunctions, and devise personalized treatment plans. Utilize hands-on techniques including massage and therapeutic exercises to stimulate recovery, while assisting patients with mobility challenges and assistive devices. Educate patients and families on correct exercise execution and in-home treatment options, maintaining accurate records to document progress toward rehabilitation goals. Work onsite in home care settings Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling options.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to educate and motivate patients effectively.
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation and treatment planning.
- A flexible and adaptable mindset to adjust treatment strategies as patient needs evolve.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Previous experience within home care or working with a similar patient demographic.
