Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories and performing assessments to determine tailored treatment protocols. Implement and adapt therapy plans based on individual responses while clearly communicating results and treatment options with patients and families. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care, oversee discharge planning, and ensure accurate documentation of progress. Engage in professional development meetings and activities to meet productivity expectations and maintain regulatory compliance. Work onsite Monday through Friday in a structured environment supporting diverse patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Virginia
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, as per the American Heart Association standards
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings
- Familiarity with electronic healthcare record systems
