Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations to create tailored treatment plans. Implement these plans while providing education to patients and families, continuously evaluating progress to adapt interventions. Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and document patient progress accurately in compliance with professional standards. Supervise support staff and participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about rehabilitation services. Engage in ongoing professional development through continued education, training, and staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and general computer skills
- A commitment to patient-centered care and high professional standards
- Must work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
- Must be available for variable weekend hours
- Must adhere to a drug-free workplace
- Must provide various vaccinations as part of the hiring process
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting
