Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs, then design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing exercise regimens, manual therapy, and advanced therapeutic equipment. Document patient progress meticulously, adjust plans to meet therapeutic goals, and guide patients through rehabilitation exercises while educating them on proper techniques. Equip patients with assistive devices as necessary and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive care. Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and staying current with industry literature. Work with a diverse population including elderly patients recovering from surgeries, children rehabilitating from sports injuries, and individuals managing chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility for licensure in Florida)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and familiarity with rehabilitation technologies
- A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) or additional certifications
