Job Summary
Assess patient goals to develop tailored treatment plans and manage a load of one individual per hour with thorough care. Deliver evidence-based orthopedic interventions using manual therapy, adaptive exercises, and therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and reduce reliance on medication or surgery. Design customized fitness programs, promote strength and balance, and collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated care. Regularly evaluate progress, analyze outcomes, and maintain accurate EMR documentation. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia
- No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Ability to implement effective intervention strategies
- Proficiency in developing tailored exercise programs that align with patient needs
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care
- Ability to adapt treatment techniques and methodologies based on individual patient responses and progress
- Excellence in motivational communication to inspire and support patients in reaching their rehabilitation goals
