Job Summary
Coordinate peer support services by assisting clients in developing recovery plans and identifying community support resources. Model coping skills and provide non-clinical crisis support, particularly following hospitalization or incarceration. Accompany clients to medical appointments, assist with applying for benefits, and link them to formal recovery supports. Educate clients on various recovery modes and provide travel training on accessing local transportation options. Work within a trauma-informed environment adhering to Sanctuary commitments, including social responsibility and emotional intelligence. Requires CRPA/CRPA-P certification, high school diploma, and experience with diverse populations. Full-time role at St. Joseph's Addiction Treatment and Recovery Centers in Saranac Lake, NY, with pay ranging from $18.50 to $21.00 per hour.
