Full-Time Peer Recovery Support Specialist (Saturday - Tuesday 10:00am to 8:00pm)

Job Summary
The Peer Recovery Specialist provides client supervision in a structured treatment environment, conducting one-to-one and group recovery sessions, assisting clients in articulating recovery goals and developing recovery plans, coordinating with the treatment team to determine steps for self-directed recovery, leading and organizing self-help groups and aftercare events, teaching problem-solving and coping strategies, sharing recovery experiences, delivering recovery-focused discussions, and ensuring timely documentation per TNDR guidelines. Requires CPRS certification preferred, with a high school diploma or GED required and an associate degree or some college preferred. Located in Nashville, TN with a Saturday–Tuesday shift from 10:00am to 8:00pm; position is full-time and non-exempt.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or some college preferred
- 1-year minimum experience with target population preferred
- Knowledge of substance abuse/addiction issues or related work experience preferred
- Peer Recovery Specialist certification within one year of start (required if applicable)
- Valid Driver’s license
