Job Summary
Unitek Learning is seeking a Full Time Peds Nursing Instructor to provide clinical education to nursing students. Requires Masters degree in nursing/education, CA RN license, and 4 years of nursing experience, including teaching. Competitive salary $100k-$120k.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a valid, unencumbered license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Eligible for approval by CA BRN as Instructor for Medical-Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community Health, or Geriatrics
- Minimum four-years’ experience, with one year in the last five years, as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
- One-year experience teaching courses related to nursing or completion of a course which includes practice in teaching nursing preferred
- Clinically competent as defined in CCR Section 1420(c)
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university that includes course work in nursing, education, or administration
- BSN and currently enrolled in a Master’s program may be considered for a Clinical Teaching Assistant
- Expertise in one of the following areas of nursing – Mental Health, Medical-Surgical, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&D, Community Health, and/or Critical Care
