Job Summary
Establish respectful, warm relationships with residents and assist with activities of daily living as needed. Facilitate recreational and life enhancement activities, including dining and light meal preparations, while collecting vital signs and observing client conditions to report changes immediately. Participate in developing residents' Support Plans, perform housekeeping and laundry as assigned, and document all interventions and observations. Adhere to all policies, federal, state, and local regulations, and complete required training and monthly education.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with Life Enrichment
- CPR/1st Aid/AED certified or ability to become certified
- Ability to communicate with residents, families, and staff
- Able to perform the essential job functions of the job description
- Demonstrate flexibility
- Satisfactory completion of the Personal Care Home Direct Care Staff Person Training Program
