Job Summary
Provide patient care, support admissions and discharge processes, and observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions while reporting changes to nursing under direct supervision. Implement delegated aspects of nursing care and comply with patient safety practices. Work three 12-hour shifts including rotating weekends and holidays. Requires HS Diploma, CNA certification, or current enrollment in a clinical program with at least one semester completed.

- HS Diploma
- Sentara Care Partner Certification Program
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
- completion of US Navy Hospital Corps School
- Emergency Services to include EMR, EMS, EMT, AEMT and Paramedic
- Current student enrolled in a clinical program having completed at least one semester of a (RN, LPN, RT or PT)
- Current work experience within last three years as a PCT or Nursing Assistant
- 1 year of Healthcare Experience (Strongly Preferred)
