Job Summary
Assess call situations to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize skills on medical equipment including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced care. Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance. Act as team leader to manage the scene and unit. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Participate in community programs to maintain the AMR image and establish strong community relations. Full-time role with 24/48 shift schedules; $79,800-$82,300 annual salary plus $20,000 sign-bonus. Requires State Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic, and compliant driving record.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably healthcare
