Job Summary
Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles and scan barcode labels for tracking. Sort freight by zip code, city, or state, then stack items into trailers to prevent damage and maximize space. Wash vehicles as needed and perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean warehouse. Work Monday through Friday starting at 3:30 PM with 10–15 hours of overtime expected weekly. Lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and 100 pounds occasionally while standing for at least eight hours. Handle various freight types including hazardous materials, perishables, and live animals.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to spend a minimum of 8 hours on your feet
- Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
