Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) at Milton Hershey School who reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting/household reporting. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role model for students
