Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (a two-person, married-couple role) reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, providing supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation, and engagement in academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, budgeting and reporting, leading daily devotions, Sunday Chapel attendance, and coordinating development and recreational activities. After hire, initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a single house as a placed houseparent. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation around $168,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training. Qualifications require youth-related experience, two-year married status, both spouses aged 27 or older, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, and adherence to campus rules including no alcohol on duty and a smoke-free environment. To be considered, both spouses must submit individual applications.
