Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes to care for 8–13 youth, providing supervision, guidance, and activities; responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students, leading devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent with a common nine-on/three-off cycle and eventual continuity with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
