Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus at a residential student home to supervise and mentor 8–13 students. They provide daily supervision, care, supervision of routines, medication administration, transport to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. They manage household routines and budgeting, with an initial nine-on/two-three-off cycle before transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group in their own home. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; compensation includes housing and benefits. Both spouses must apply individually and meet age, marriage duration, and family-house requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
