Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus, reside in student homes, and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living and working with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
