Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide guidance, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, and manage household routines with a nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role. Compensation per person is $44,768 annually with full benefits and relocation assistance; includes on-site housing and meals; requires two-person, married-couple eligibility and a driver’s license. Relocation assistance and paid training provided. Qualifications include youth experience, high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Two spouses must apply separately.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Proximity to campus on-site housing eligibility
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
