Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for a married couple live on an on-campus student home at Milton Hershey School, supervising and guiding a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on duty with three off, to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Compensation is per person with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; includes housing, meals on duty, insurance, retirement, PTO; two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be age 27+. High school diploma or GED required; valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a highly involved caregiving/leadership role within a faith- and values-based campus, emphasizing student success and well-being.
