Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents: a two-person, married-couple role living on campus in a student home in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and transitions to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement for consideration (must be legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student vans
- Complete individual employment applications (for both spouses)
