Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married-couple role) reside on-campus in student homes and provide supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, planning activities, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning into a placed houseparent after an initial nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle. Compensation includes salary per person and comprehensive benefits, plus relocation assistance and paid training. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses aged 27+ with at least two years married; role emphasizes character and student development in a structured, faith-aligned environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Committment to a wholesome campus environment
