Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, to oversee a group of approximately 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, mentoring, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Two-person role for couples
- Willingness to reside on-campus in student homes
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism

- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
