Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role providing care and supervision to a group of 8–13 students in on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent while living with the same group of students. Requires nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation to on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models for students
- Must complete individual employment applications for both spouses
