Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes; responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and can transition into a placed houseparent living with the same student group.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
