Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students; responsibilities include managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting/household reporting. The role begins on a nine-on, three-off schedule with potential transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group; couples must work as a two-person team, with both spouses applying individually. On-site benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement plans, relocation assistance, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
