Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents needed at Milton Hershey School to live in on-campus student homes and supervise a group of ~8–13 students. The role requires caring for students, guiding daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting/reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent within the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-year legal marriage duration up to two spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol during duty
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
