Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision and mentorship to groups of 8–13 students, administer medications, drive to activities, plan developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and follow a 9-on/3-off schedule transitioning to a placed houseparent role while maintaining a smoke-/weapon-free campus and compliant with school safety policies. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, PTO. Both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement for employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pro-social leadership and mentorship skills
- Experience with youth or volunteer work with youth
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Residence on-campus as a two-person team for 9 days on/3 days off
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
