Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents on-campus in Hershey, PA, reside in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions with Sunday Chapel. They oversee budgeting and household reporting and will follow a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule initially, with potential transition to a placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students in their own home. The role requires a two-person married couple arrangement with both spouses completing individual applications and meeting the listed qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
