Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA to care for a group of 8–13 students in on-site homes. The role entails daily supervision and mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing household routines and budgets, and reporting. Couples initially work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; both spouses must apply separately.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Two-person role for couples
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications for both spouses
