Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple role) reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a stable home for the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement
- Legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
