Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a two-person married couple living on campus in student homes (approx. 8–13 students) providing supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, daily devotions, budgeting oversight, and transition to Placed Houseparent. Roles require on-duty nine days followed by three days off, relocation assistance provided, and comprehensive benefits. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to follow a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with limited dependents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
