Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live on-campus in student homes, supervising ~8–13 students and providing care, mentorship, supervision, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent who lives and works with the same group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
