Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. They reside on campus, supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, and lead daily devotions and Chapel. The position starts with a nine-on / three-off schedule, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same students in a dedicated home. Benefits include base salary per person, comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and other family-friendly support, with two-person housing and meals included while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
