Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role follows an initial nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a single student home. Benefits include salary per person with comprehensive medical/vision/dental coverage, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid training. This two-person, married-couple position requires both spouses to apply individually and meet age, residency, and faith-faith-aligned expectations; candidates must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to obtain van certification; high school diploma or GED required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
Additional Requirements
- Must be a legally married couple for at least two years
