Job Summary
Full-time, two-person married-couple role as Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Live on campus in student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care to a cohort of 8–13 students, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, manage household routines and budgeting, and complete house reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent student-home assignment. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, retirement, life, disability) and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model behavior for students
