Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes with a two-person married couple, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group. Benefits include a per-person salary of $44,768 (about $168,000 total per couple with housing and benefits), relocation assistance, paid training, medical/dental/vision, retirement options, PTO, and more. Requirements include youth-focused experience, being married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, HS diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, and ability to drive student vans; roles emphasize Judeo-Christian chapel involvement and a smoke- and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
