Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person couple) live on campus in Manhattan Beach, CA, to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition into a Placed Houseparent role with a shared on-campus home. Benefits include salary per person around $44,768 (about $168,000 total per couple with housing and benefits), relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training. Requires two spouses who are legally married for at least two years and both completing individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person, married couple requirement for consideration
