Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School live in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and mentorship, administer medications, transport students to activities, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same student group; includes budgeting and household reporting, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prohibition on alcohol while on duty
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
